A 17-year-old girl died after suffering a medical episode at the Kendal Calling music festival in Cumbria in the early hours of Sunday, August 2, 2026. Emergency services were called to the festival site at Lowther Deer Park near Penrith at approximately 2:15 a.m. but were unable to save her.
