TCL P80 Series Tab A1 Tablets Debut NXTPAPER AMOLED
TCL has unveiled its latest P80 series smartphones and Tab A1 series tablets at the ongoing IFA 2026 event. The new P80 lineup includes the P80 Ultra, P80 Pro, and a standard P80 model, with the Ultra and Pro variants featuring TCL's new NXTPAPER AMOLED display technology. This innovation combines the deep contrast and vibrant colors of AMOLED screens with the glare-free, paper-like viewing experience characteristic of NXTPAPER technology, designed to reduce eye strain. The P80 Ultra and P80 Pro incorporate a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, capable of reaching 3,200 nits of peak brightness. Both devices feature a dedicated NXTPAPER Key that activates various display modes, including a "Max Ink" mode which transforms the screen into a monochrome display, limits notifications, and conserves battery for extended reading sessions. TCL claims this mode can offer up to seven days of reading time. These models also come preloaded with over 500 ebooks and include AI-powered features that can convert ebooks into audiobooks or podcasts.
