Sydney Sweeney performs wingwalking stunt, challenges Tom Cruise

Actress Sydney Sweeney performed a daring wingwalking stunt, strapping herself to the top of a moving biplane that flipped upside down midflight, in a video she shared on Instagram on Monday, August 24, 2026. The 28-year-old star of Euphoria playfully challenged fellow actor and renowned stunt performer Tom Cruise with the caption, "Watch out Tom Cruise." The video shows Sweeney secured to the wing of a single-engine biplane, wearing a red safety vest and protective goggles while holding a camera. She appeared calm and smiling as the aircraft performed dramatic rolls and turns, at one point completely inverting while she remained attached. The stunt was facilitated by The Wing Walk Company, which commented on her post, "You were brilliant...we LOVED having you!" Sweeney's post directly referenced Cruise's own famous aerial stunt for the 2025 film Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, in which the 64-year-old actor wingwalked on an antique biplane.
