Suzuki Unveils eSky Electric Kei Car for Japan, UK, Europe in 2027
Suzuki has unveiled the production version of its first all-electric kei car, the eSky, a compact hatchback designed for the Japanese market with a planned rollout to the United Kingdom and Europe in 2027. The vehicle, which promises a driving range of approximately 310 kilometers (193 miles), was revealed ahead of its scheduled launch in Japan this autumn. The eSky evolves from the Vision eSky concept shown at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show and adheres to Japan's strict kei car regulations, which impose tight limits on vehicle dimensions and motor output. As a result, it measures just 3,395 millimeters in length and 1,475 millimeters in width.
