Star Meat Delivery Recalls 167,639 Pounds of Meat

Star Meat Delivery is recalling approximately 167,639 pounds of raw beef, pork and goat products after the U.S. Department of Agriculture found they had been produced without federal inspection and carried a false USDA inspection mark. The Food Safety and Inspection Service classified the recall as Class I, its most serious category, because consuming the products could pose a risk of serious health consequences. The FSIS said routine surveillance activities uncovered the inspection problem. The products carried a false establishment number, EST. 1363, and were produced on various dates through September 22, 2026, according to the agency’s notice. The USDA said the mark should not be treated as evidence that the meat had passed federal inspection. The FSIS said the meat was distributed in bulk under the AD Foods label and shipped to a distributor in Georgia for distribution to retailers and restaurants nationwide. Individual packages sold by stores may carry different labels, so they may not display the AD Foods name or the same bulk packaging information. The agency’s notice lists more than 20 affected products, including raw beef, pork and goat items.
