Standard Chartered Forecasts Arbitrum ARB to Reach $10 by 2030
Standard Chartered has initiated coverage of Arbitrum's ARB token with a $10 price target for the end of 2030, forecasting a roughly 70-fold increase from its current level. The bank's projection is anchored in the network's potential to capture growing revenue from traditional financial firms moving assets onto blockchain infrastructure. In a research note, Geoff Kendrick, Standard Chartered's global head of digital assets research, outlined a thesis that Arbitrum's economics could be transformed by its role as enterprise plumbing for tokenization. The bank set interim targets of $0.50 by the end of 2026, $1.50 in 2027, $3.50 in 2028, and $6.50 in 2029 before reaching the 2030 goal. ARB traded at approximately $0.13-$0.15 at the time of the note. Central to the forecast is the Arbitrum Expansion Program, under which chains built on Arbitrum technology that settle outside its main networks return 10% of net protocol revenue to the Arbitrum ecosystem. The bank highlighted Robinhood Chain, launched in July, as a key early example.
