SpaceX, NVIDIA Partner on Orbital AI Computing
SpaceX and NVIDIA announced a partnership on Monday, August 24, 2026, to deploy advanced computing systems for artificial intelligence workloads, with plans to extend the infrastructure into orbit. The collaboration will see SpaceXAI integrate NVIDIA's new Vera CPU and Vera Rubin platform to power its next-generation agentic AI systems, including the Grok model, and will culminate in the launch of a space-optimized computing system in late 2027. The core of the partnership involves SpaceXAI deploying NVIDIA's Vera CPUs across its terrestrial data centers. These processors are designed specifically for AI agent tasks such as orchestration, code execution, data processing, and simulation.
