The breakaway region of Somaliland will open an embassy in Jerusalem, reciprocated by Israel establishing a diplomatic presence in Hargeisa, according to a senior Somaliland official. The move deepens a bilateral relationship that began with Israel's formal recognition of Somaliland's independence last December.
