SNL UK Season 2 Hosts and Musical Guests Announced

Saturday Night Live UK is set to premiere its second season on September 9, with Jeff Goldblum as host and CMAT as the musical guest. The popular sketch comedy show, a British adaptation of the long-running American series, will continue to feature its original cast members, including Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young. Freddie Meredith has been added as a new cast member. The following week, on September 19, actor and comedian Jamie Demetriou, known for his roles in "Stath Lets Flats" and "Fleabag," will take the hosting duties, accompanied by the rock band Royal Blood as the musical guest. Demetriou has prior experience with the show, having served as a consultant during its first season. Amelia Dimoldenberg, the creator and host of the popular web series "Chicken Shop Date," is scheduled to host the episode on September 26. English singer Rachel Chinouriri will perform as the musical guest. Dimoldenberg's appearance on SNL UK comes shortly after she announced the conclusion of "Chicken Shop Date" after a 12-year run.
