A portion of an under-construction bridge collapsed over the Betwa River in Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur district early Friday morning, killing six laborers and injuring three others. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. between Parsani and Kandaur villages when a slab of the bridge gave way during severe storm conditions.
