Sharma clarifies hospitalization, denies insect bite

Actor Rajesh Sharma has clarified reports surrounding his recent hospitalization, denying claims that he fell ill due to an insect bite while filming Prabhas' upcoming movie "Fauzi." Sharma stated that his health complications stemmed from a long-standing skin infection on his right leg, which was severely aggravated by high diabetes levels. The actor, speaking recently, emphasized that neither Prabhas nor the film's production unit were responsible for his medical emergency. "It's false news. Nothing happened on Prabhas' film set," Sharma told NDTV. "Neither Prabhas nor the unit was responsible in any way. They are nice people. Nothing happened in Hyderabad while I was shooting there." Sharma explained that his condition worsened after he returned to Kolkata from Hyderabad. "After I flew back to Kolkata, in a day or two, the situation became severe. Because my diabetes was very high and I didn't take it seriously at the beginning," he said. He added that he had a skin problem on his right leg for a considerable time, which eventually led to the infection.
