Search for missing teen called off after Welsh beach incident
A major multiagency search for a 15-year-old boy who disappeared in the sea off a Welsh beach has been called off, with the teenager still unaccounted for. The search operation, involving police, coastguard, and RNLI teams, was suspended on the evening of September 1, approximately 48 hours after the boy got into difficulty in the water at Marloes Sands, Pembrokeshire. The incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, when three people encountered trouble in the water. Two of the individuals managed to return to shore safely, but the third, a 15-year-old boy visiting from the Yorkshire area, did not resurface. His father and brother were among the group, according to reports.
