Samsung raises US Galaxy S26 prices by up to $200

Published 1 October 2026

Samsung has raised prices for its Galaxy S26 phones on its US online store, with most configurations increasing by about $100 and the 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra rising by about $200. The updated listings put the series at roughly $999 to $1,999, depending on model and storage. Samsung had not publicly explained the US increases in the supplied reports. The 256GB Galaxy S26 is now listed at about $999, up from roughly $899, while its 512GB version is about $1,199. The Galaxy S26 Plus starts at about $1,199 for 256GB and reaches about $1,399 for 512GB. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is listed at about $1,399 for 256GB, $1,599 for 512GB and $1,999 for 1TB. Prices were rounded in some listings; the underlying prices in others ended in 99 cents. The increases apply to Samsung’s US store listings, but retailers did not all show the same prices when the reports were published. Some accounts found that third-party listings remained at earlier prices, while one reported the 1TB Ultra at the higher price at Best Buy. Amazon, Target and Walmart were reported to have not changed their prices at that point.
