Sadhguru Seeks China Permission to Search for 80 Missing Pilgrims in Tibet Flood
Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has appealed to Chinese authorities to allow him and a small team of volunteers to travel to Gyirong in Tibet to search for 80 members of his Isha Foundation pilgrimage group who remain unaccounted for after a devastating flash flood struck the Nepal-Tibet border region. The disaster, which occurred on Wednesday, August 26, has caused widespread destruction and left hundreds of people missing across the affected area. In a statement dated August 27, Sadhguru said the group was caught in the floods at Gyirong while returning from the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage.
