Royce White attends Fever game in wig amid WNBA draft debate
Former NBA player Royce White attended an Indiana Fever game on Friday night wearing a long blonde wig, continuing a public campaign to enter the WNBA draft and reigniting debate over transgender athlete policies in women's sports. White, 35, was courtside at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for the Fever's 111-91 victory over the Connecticut Sun. White, who was the 16th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, has declared for the 2027 WNBA Draft alongside fellow former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom. Both have stated they identify as women, a move the WNBA has unequivocally rejected.
