Rohit Shetty Announces Golmaal 5 for January 2027

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has officially announced the fifth installment of his popular Golmaal comedy franchise, confirming a release date of January 8, 2027. The announcement was made on September 19 via a motion poster shared on Instagram, which featured the film's core ensemble cast. The poster showcases the return of the franchise's familiar faces, including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, and Sharman Joshi. Joshi's inclusion marks his return to the series after appearing in the original 2006 film. The motion poster depicts the cast on a stretched-out motorcycle, accompanied by the franchise's signature whistle tune. A significant addition to the cast for this installment is actor Akshay Kumar, who will join the ensemble in a new comic role. The announcement also lists other new cast members, including Triptii Dimri, Priyamani, Tabu, Prakash Raj, and Sanjay Mishra.
