Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, 42, announced his intention to retire from the NFL after the upcoming 2026 season, with his primary focus shifting to starting a family with his wife, Brittani. Rodgers shared his post-retirement plans during an interview with Adam Schein on SiriusXM Mad Dog Sports Radio. Rodgers stated he hopes to be supporting his pregnant wife as they begin their family, indicating a desire for a quiet life away from public appearances. "I'm looking forward to a life of quiet after 22 years in the pros and three in college and getting my body healed up and working on a family," he said. He expressed excitement about fatherhood, noting that spending time with his brothers' children has increased his eagerness to have children of his own. "The more I'm around them, the more I get excited, and so does the wife, about having some of our own," Rodgers explained. He anticipates the challenges of parenthood, including sleepless nights and changing diapers, looking forward to "all of it." While Rodgers did not specify an exact timeline for a child, he indicated a hope for Brittani to be pregnant by this time next year, which would be around September 2027.
