Ripple Puts XRP on Louisville Basketball Court in New Deal

Published 16 September 2026

Ripple has signed a multiyear branding partnership with the University of Louisville, placing the XRP logo permanently on its basketball court. The deal, announced on September 15, 2026, marks the cryptocurrency company's third major U.S. college sports sponsorship in roughly 10 weeks. The agreement will see the XRP logo appear on Denny Crum Court at the KFC Yum! Center for all men's and women's basketball home games starting with the 2026-27 season. Additional branding will be featured on courtside signage, throughout the arena, and across Louisville's digital, social, and radio platforms for both basketball programs. Louisville Vice President and Director of Athletics Josh Heird stated that Ripple was "very intentional about aligning with premier basketball brands" and selected the university for its history, national reach, and fan base. The court branding will coexist with the existing tribute to former coach Denny Crum, whose insignia will remain inside the 3-point arc. Alongside the arena placements, Ripple will sponsor financial and technology education programs for Louisville student-athletes and the broader campus community.
