Ripple Prime Launches Delta One Service for Institutional Derivatives

Published 28 August 2026

Ripple Prime, the institutional brokerage arm of digital asset company Ripple, has launched a new Delta One service offering total return swaps on U.S.-listed equities, market indexes, and digital assets. The service, announced on August 27, 2026, is designed for institutional investors such as hedge funds, asset managers, and market makers, providing a single counterparty for derivative-based exposure across multiple asset classes. The Delta One products allow clients to gain economic exposure to the performance of an underlying asset without directly owning it. This is achieved through total return swaps, which track the price movements and returns of a reference asset over a set period. Ripple Prime stated that the service enables clients to execute these trades with a single counterparty and cross-margin positions across the supported categories of foreign exchange, fixed income, digital assets, and now U.S. equities and indexes. The launch represents a significant expansion for Ripple Prime, which was established following Ripple's acquisition of the prime brokerage firm Hidden Road in October 2025.
