Richardson Named Colts Backup QB

Anthony Richardson has been named the Indianapolis Colts' backup quarterback, earning the No. 2 role behind starter Daniel Jones for the upcoming season. Richardson, the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, had requested a trade earlier in the offseason after it appeared he would not retain the starting position.
