Ray Hadley testifies about Alan Jones accuser's emotional disclosure in court

Published 1 September 2026

Former radio broadcaster Ray Hadley provided emotional testimony in a Sydney court on Tuesday, recounting how an alleged victim of Alan Jones broke down in tears while disclosing unwanted sexual advances by the veteran broadcaster. The evidence came during the criminal trial of Jones, 85, who has pleaded not guilty to charges of indecent assault and sexual touching. Hadley, a longtime colleague of Jones at radio station 2GB, told the Downing Centre Local Court that he was confided in by a man known as Complainant C in October 2019. The complainant alleged that Jones had repeatedly kissed him and touched his genitals without consent.
