Rashmika Mandanna to resume work after hip injury recovery
Actor Rashmika Mandanna is preparing to return to her professional commitments after a period of recovery from a hip injury. The actress shared an update on her social media on August 30, 2026, indicating her break is nearing its end. "I am getting back to work soon and I am definitely going to miss all of this!" she wrote, accompanying a series of images and videos from her time at home. The injury, which Mandanna first disclosed on August 3, occurred while she was filming a dance sequence for her upcoming movie, Mysaa. She explained that one of the four tendons connecting her right hip to her leg had detached and required time to heal. "Injuries suck.. and I was really hoping that no one will get to know.. but well. Sorry I've been MIA," she wrote at the time, noting it was her third consecutive injury. She described Mysaa as the most physically demanding film she has worked on. During her recovery, Mandanna documented moments of her downtime, including performing puja, spending time with her dog, solving picture puzzles, and relaxing in her garden. The posts offered a glimpse into her quieter life away from film sets as she focused on healing.
