Ralf Schumacher to undergo shoulder surgery after jet ski crash
Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher will undergo surgery on his right shoulder on Monday, August 31, after dislocating it and fracturing a small piece of bone during a celebrity jet ski event in Germany. Despite the injury, the 51-year-old television pundit expects to travel to Monza, Italy, by Thursday to fulfill his broadcasting duties for the upcoming Italian Grand Prix. The incident occurred on August 30, during the team challenge at Stefan Raab's "Jetski Star World Championship" in Duisburg. Schumacher was driving the jet ski with Raab as his passenger when the pair crashed into the water on two occasions.
