In an interview with news agency ANI, Yadav emphasized his dedication to his craft and vowed to produce work that demonstrates his artistic journey from 2000 to 2026. Yadav, a veteran of Hindi cinema known for comic and supporting roles in films such as Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Phir Hera Pheri, spoke amid the fallout from a long-running legal dispute. In July 2026, the Delhi High Court upheld convictions and sentences against Yadav and his wife, Radha Yadav, in multiple cheque-dishonour cases. The cases stemmed from a financial dispute with Murli Projects Pvt. Ltd. related to losses from Yadav's directorial film Ata Pata Laapata. According to court details, Yadav had repeatedly assured the court he would repay the complainant, leading to suspended sentences and adjournments over an extended period. The court ultimately found that he failed to honor these undertakings despite numerous opportunities and directed him to surrender to jail authorities.
