Raiders Reportedly Sign Neal Bell Ojulari to Practice Squad

Published 5 September 2026

The Las Vegas Raiders have reportedly agreed to practice squad deals with offensive lineman Evan Neal, wide receiver Ronnie Bell, and defensive end Azeez Ojulari. The signings followed a workout on Thursday, September 3, 2026, where the team evaluated 16 players. Neal, the seventh overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, was released by the New York Giants during their final roster cuts. The Giants drafted the highly touted offensive lineman out of Alabama, but his tenure was marked by struggles and fan criticism. He did not play in the 2025 season, partly due to injury, and the Giants opted not to pick up his fifth-year option for 2026. The Raiders are reportedly hoping a change of scenery will help the 25-year-old lineman realize his potential. The team also added wide receiver Ronnie Bell, a 2023 seventh-round pick who spent the 2025 season with the New Orleans Saints. Bell previously played for the San Francisco 49ers. The Raiders' receiver room has been impacted by injuries, with rookie Donte Thornton Jr. placed on injured reserve, prompting the team to seek reinforcements. Defensive end Azeez Ojulari, along with his brother B.J.
