Q2 Filings Show Investment Advisers Top XRP ETF Holders
Investment advisers have emerged as the dominant holders of U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds, according to second-quarter regulatory filings, as the products have attracted cumulative net inflows of approximately $1.6 billion. The data reveals a significant institutional embrace of the cryptocurrency-linked investment vehicles, with Goldman Sachs leading individual firms. Second-quarter 13F filings, which disclose holdings for large institutional investors, show that investment advisers held and allocated the most capital to spot XRP ETFs during the period, far outpacing hedge funds and brokerages. This composition suggests the inflows are largely driven by buy-and-hold client portfolios. Goldman Sachs reported the largest single position, with about $87.4 million in exposure across multiple XRP ETF products. Jane Street and Millennium Management followed, each with holdings of approximately $16.6 million. The filings coincide with a sustained period of positive flows into the funds. Spot XRP ETFs extended a nine-day streak of net inflows on August 28, taking in $26.2 million that day, according to SoSoValue data.
