Punjabi Influencer Manjeet Kaur Dies After Alleged Abduction and Attack

Punjabi social media influencer Manjeet Kaur, 28, has died from severe burn injuries sustained in an alleged abduction and attack nearly two months prior. Kaur passed away on August 26 while undergoing treatment at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, police confirmed on Saturday. According to a complaint filed by her mother, Kanta Devi, Kaur was allegedly kidnapped on the night of July 3. Two acquaintances, identified as Shubhi and Pinda, reportedly called her to meet near a liquor shop in Sector 34, Chandigarh. The complaint states that upon arrival, she was forced into a vehicle and taken to a forested area near Morinda in Punjab.
