Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office confirmed Gerber died on Sunday, September 20, 2026, while at a rehab facility. The cause of death has not been determined, and an autopsy is pending. A representative for the family stated, "The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time." Gerber, who was also the brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber, had been open in recent years about his struggles with mental health and substance use. In a December 2025 Instagram video, he detailed his use of prescription medications, including buprenorphine, Xanax, and Valium, to treat conditions like panic attacks and night terrors. He expressed frustration with the lack of clear direction from doctors regarding his treatment. "Unfortunately, I've had a lot of loss in many different forms recently, so that is not an excuse, but it's the reason why I am where I'm at now," Gerber said in the video. His sister, Kaia Gerber, recently discussed the impact of his struggles on their family in an interview published in Vogue's September issue.
