Premier League clubs eye Dani Carvajal
Veteran defender Dani Carvajal, a free agent after concluding a decorated 13-year spell at Real Madrid, is reportedly being considered by multiple Premier League clubs. Intermediaries have offered the 34-year-old right-back to Liverpool and Manchester City, while Fulham is also exploring a potential move. Carvajal's availability comes after his contract with the Spanish giants expired over the summer. He leaves Real Madrid as one of the club's most decorated players, having amassed 27 major honors, including six Champions League titles and four La Liga crowns. He also holds 52 caps for the Spanish national team and was part of the squad that won the European Championships in 2024. Liverpool has reportedly been offered the chance to sign the experienced defender, with sources suggesting the club may be seeking additional cover at right-back. Jeremie Frimpong's form has been inconsistent, and while Ronald Araújo has performed well, the position is seen as unresolved. However, Liverpool is also awaiting the return of Conor Bradley from injury. Manchester City is also weighing up an offer for Carvajal.
