Poll: Fetterman Now More Popular With Republicans Than Democrats
A new poll reveals a dramatic political realignment for Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, showing his favorability has collapsed among Democratic voters while surging to unprecedented levels among Republicans. The survey, conducted by The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and Siena University, indicates that Fetterman, a Democrat, is now viewed more favorably by Republicans than by members of his own party. The poll, conducted from August 17 to 21 among 760 registered Pennsylvania voters, found that only 22 percent of Democrats view Fetterman favorably, a steep decline from 74 percent in May 2024.
