Police investigate theft of 11 sheep from Jeremy Clarkson's farm

Eleven sheep have been stolen from Diddly Squat Farm, the Oxfordshire property owned by television presenter Jeremy Clarkson, prompting a police investigation. The theft was discovered when Clarkson and his farmhand and television co-star, Kaleb Cooper, counted the flock and found the animals missing. The stolen livestock are a breed known as Easycares, which are noted for requiring minimal shearing and veterinary care. Clarkson stated the sheep were worth more than £2,000 at market. He expressed frustration over the loss, saying, "It's upset me... Anyone who has anything stolen, it's awful, but to have animals stolen, it's really galling. They were happy here. This is my favourite field on the farm." Clarkson issued a direct warning to the perpetrators, stating, "Put them back. It's a farm. We're armed. Just so they know." He said he did not know exactly when the theft occurred but believed it happened either at night or on a day when filming for the Amazon Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm was not taking place. He noted that the farm typically has a film crew and a drone present, making a theft during those times less likely.
