Police investigate Channel dinghy slashing by Danny Tommo

Police are investigating after Daniel Thomas, known as Danny Tommo, filmed himself slashing an empty migrant dinghy with a knife in the English Channel on September 22, while a rescue worker was on or near the vessel. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said it was making enquiries into video showing damage to a boat. The footage showed Thomas approach the dinghy after its passengers had been transferred to rescue boats.
