POCO has launched its new F9 series of smartphones, the F9 Ultra and F9 Pro, marking a significant update to its flagship lineup with a focus on gaming performance, display technology, and battery life. The devices were unveiled globally on September 1, 2026. A key talking point is POCO's decision to equip the top-tier F9 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the same processor used in its predecessor, the F8 Ultra. The company explained that rising memory costs across the industry influenced this strategy.
