The disciplinary action, announced on August 26, 2026, stems from wagers Gogel made during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. The suspension, which began on August 23, 2026, sidelines the 55-year-old from all PGA Tour-sanctioned events until February 22, 2027. The PGA Tour's Integrity Program strictly prohibits players and affiliates from wagering on professional golf to prevent corruption and protect the sport's credibility.
