Peter Uihlein, a professional golfer competing in LIV Golf tournaments, has been disqualified from the first stage of DP World Tour Qualifying School after failing to appear for his scheduled third-round tee time. The disqualification occurred Friday at Huddersfield Golf Club in Huddersfield, England. Uihlein, 37, opened the qualifying event with rounds of 74 and 73, placing him at 7 over par after 36 holes and tied for 66th place. With only the top 19 players and ties advancing to the second stage, Uihlein faced a significant challenge to qualify. The exact reason for his absence from the tee time remains unclear, though sources noted that play on the second day was suspended due to high winds. Uihlein was one of three LIV Golf players competing at the Huddersfield venue. Spanish players Luis Masaveu and Jose Luis Ballester are also participating.
