Paramount Unveils First Look at Tulsa King Spinoff Frisco King

Published 16 September 2026

Paramount has released the first promotional images for "Frisco King," a new crime drama and spinoff of the series "Tulsa King." The show stars Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a New York enforcer who relocates to Frisco, Texas, to establish his own criminal enterprise. The series is set in the expanding television universe created by Taylor Sheridan. Jackson's character was introduced in the third season of "Tulsa King," where he was sent to eliminate Sylvester Stallone's Dwight "The General" Manfredi but instead formed an alliance with his former prison friend. "Frisco King" follows Washington as he assembles a crew of young, inexperienced associates in the affluent Dallas suburb. Executive producer Christina Alexandra Voros confirmed that Stallone will guest star as Manfredi in the first episode of the new series. Stallone also serves as an executive producer. "As much as Tulsa King is Dwight Manfredi's show, Frisco King is Russell Washington's show," Voros said. The cast includes relative newcomers Asa Germann as Teddy, a college dropout; Kai Caster as hotel valet Keith; Lilah Pate as cheerleader London; and Savanna Gann as her friend Avery.
