Director Dan Trachtenberg will helm a new animated family horror comedy, with Paramount Animation setting a thematically perfect release date of Friday, October 13, 2028. The film is an adaptation of the indie comic "Freddy the 13th" by Yehudi Mercado, who will codirect the project alongside Trachtenberg.
