Pant ruled out of keeping in 2nd Test due to shoulder injury

India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is not keeping wickets during the second Test against Sri Lanka at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo due to a shoulder injury. In his absence, Dhruv Jurel, who was included in the playing XI as a specialist batter, has taken over the wicketkeeping duties for the hosts' first innings. Pant suffered the injury while batting on the opening day of the match. He was struck on the left wrist by a delivery from Sri Lanka fast bowler Lahiru Kumara and retired hurt on three runs. Despite the blow, Pant returned to bat on the second day and scored an impressive 63 off 89 balls, including six fours and two sixes.
