Packers Reed, Bako-Bewele Carted Off in Opening Drive vs Jets

On September 20, 2026, the Green Bay Packers suffered a significant blow during the opening drive of their game against the New York Jets when wide receiver Jayden Reed and right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele were carted off the field with injuries in consecutive plays. Reed was injured on the second play of the game. After catching a short swing pass from quarterback Jordan Love for a four-yard gain, he was hit hard by Jets linebacker Demario Davis. The impact left Reed face down on the turf, and medical personnel immediately attended to him.
