Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Stolen From California Distribution Center

Published 29 August 2026

A truck carrying an estimated 40,000 pounds of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer was stolen from a distribution center in Montclair, California, on August 17, 2026, in what authorities and the company describe as a brazen cargo theft. The incident, which may rank among the largest beer heists in history, has prompted a public appeal from the beer brand and an active investigation by local police. According to the Montclair Police Department, the theft occurred at an AnheuserBusch distribution center on Brooks Street. The first incident was reported around 10 a.m. when a shipment valued at approximately $45,000, bound for Tucson, Arizona, was picked up for delivery but never arrived at its destination.
