Marcia Lucas, the Oscar-winning film editor who helped shape the original "Star Wars" trilogy and other landmark films of the 1970s, died on May 27 at her home in Rancho Mirage, California. She was 80. Her family’s attorney confirmed her death was due to metastatic cancer.
