As play was underway, a group of spectators, identified as influencers, began staging a photoshoot in a hospitality suite, using portable lights and moving around during points. Chair umpire Kader Nouni was compelled to pause the match and address the group over the stadium's public address system, asking them to "take your seat." Osaka, a four-time Grand Slam champion, stated that such disturbances can impact player concentration.
