OpenSea Restores Solana NFT Trading After Four-Year Hiatus

OpenSea has reintroduced support for Solana-based nonfungible tokens, allowing users to discover, buy, and sell collections from the network directly on its multichain marketplace. The rollout, announced on August 31, 2026, marks the first time since April 2022 that the platform has offered full trading capabilities for Solana NFTs, ending a hiatus of more than four years. The integration brings popular Solana collections, including Claynosaurz, Mad Lads, Collector Crypt, and Phygitals, into OpenSea's existing ecosystem. Users can now browse and trade these assets alongside NFTs from more than 25 other supported blockchains without switching wallets or moving to a separate marketplace.
