An Ontario Provincial Police officer was killed in the line of duty Tuesday afternoon while conducting an investigation in northern Ontario. Constable Tarun Bali, 29, died after being seriously injured near the town of Hearst, approximately 520 kilometres east of Thunder Bay. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m.
