Ondo Launches Three Tokenized Portfolios Based on BlackRock Strategies

Ondo Finance has launched Intelligent Portfolios, a set of three tokenized investment portfolios based on strategies it says BlackRock developed specifically for the company. Each portfolio is represented by a single onchain token, with allocations, fees and scheduled rebalancing programmed through smart contracts, according to Ondo’s product description. The initial offerings are Ondo High Income, Ondo Diversified Growth and Ondo High Growth. One report gives the strategies more specific labels, describing them as global high income, diversified growth and high growth. Ondo says the portfolios hold tokenized equities and exchange-traded funds backed by securities, and that investors can mint or redeem a single token rather than manage individual positions. Ondo says the products are available to eligible non-U.S. investors in permitted jurisdictions. The reports do not specify which jurisdictions qualify or provide details of the eligibility rules. The company also describes the tokens as transferable and usable in decentralized finance applications, including as collateral in lending or perpetual derivatives markets.
