Ogun Police Rescue 2 Pregnant Women, 4 Children From Baby Factory

Ogun State Police Command operatives have dismantled an alleged illegal baby factory in Mowe, rescuing two pregnant women and four children and arresting six suspects in connection with suspected human trafficking and illegal adoption. The raid was conducted on August 24, 2026, at a facility on Toluwalase Street in Abaren Village. According to police statements, the operation was carried out at approximately 8 a.m. following sustained intelligence gathered by the Mowe Divisional Police headquarters. Preliminary investigations indicated that human trafficking and illegal adoption activities had been systematically occurring at the hideout over time.
