Oasis warns fans about scams as 2027 ticket sale opens

Oasis warned fans to watch for ticket scams as the band began sending access codes for its 2027 Live 27 tour and ticket sales opened on September 25. The group said genuine codes would come only from oasisopenstageit.com and would be personal, nontransferable and linked to the details used to register. Codes offered for sale are fraudulent and will not enable a ticket purchase, the band said. Oasis said selected registrants would receive emails between September 24 and September 27. Each message should direct recipients to Ticketmaster, the band said, and code holders should use only the sale window and city assigned to them. Registration did not guarantee a code or a ticket. The band cautioned fans against messages asking for payment for a code, passwords or card details, or directing them to websites other than the official Ticketmaster site. It advised recipients of suspicious messages not to click links or make payments, and told those expecting a genuine code to check their junk or spam folders. The warning also said scammers might impersonate Oasis, its mailing list or ticketing partners.
