Nvidia Posts Record Revenue, Forms Political PAC Amid AI Boom
Nvidia reported record quarterly revenue and an upbeat forecast for artificial intelligence demand, while simultaneously expanding its political presence in Washington with the formation of a new employee-funded political action committee. The dual announcements underscore the chipmaker's dominant position in the AI boom and its growing efforts to influence the policy landscape shaping the technology's future. The company announced on August 27 that its fiscal second-quarter revenue reached $96.2 billion, a 106% increase from the same period last year. Data center sales, which are driven primarily by AI infrastructure, accounted for $89 billion of that total.
