Linda Nosková of the Czech Republic advanced to her first Grand Slam semifinal on Wednesday, defeating Belgium's Elise Mertens in straight sets at Wimbledon. The 21-year-old ninth seed won 6-3, 7-5 on Court One to set up a semifinal clash with Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk.
