Nora Fatehi faces Rs 3 crore defamation suit
An aviation company has filed a civil defamation suit seeking Rs 3 crore from actor and dancer Nora Fatehi, alleging that her social media comments about a chartered aircraft caused significant damage to its reputation and business. The suit was filed by Dunes Aviation at a Gandhinagar court, which is scheduled to hear the matter on September 25, 2026. The dispute centers on videos Fatehi reportedly shared on her Instagram account after traveling on one of the company's aircraft. According to the suit, Fatehi flew from Mumbai to Jaipur in December 2025 aboard a Cessna Citation CJ2. During the journey, she allegedly recorded videos inside the aircraft and described it using terms such as "miniature," "toy," and "Lego airplane." Dunes Aviation has characterized these remarks as reckless, irresponsible, and made without technical knowledge or factual basis. The aviation firm claims that Fatehi's comments, amplified by her substantial social media following of over 4.6 crore people, resulted in serious reputational damage, loss of goodwill, and adverse commercial impact.
